I loved the show, it reminded me of why I love doing what we do....the game, my partners, the comraderie, the dish, teaching......I loved it so much I contacted mlb network to request more umpire...

think this was the mindset from a while ago...and even Papa C mentions it in his book about how to ruin a ballgame......by making the unexpected call.......the ball is down and waiting on the runner...

In my first year of umpiring....I was working solo on a youth game......wearing my league issued mask and balloon.......a ground ball to F3 and I come out from the plate trying to get a good angle on...

over the past few years New Era quality has been dropping dramatically. The main area was sizing......In one batch of new era hats it was not uncommon to find 3 different size hats all marked 7...

agreed...............1000%...you have no right to games canceled and rescheduled....hopefully you can be available to work those...but an assignment is a game on a specific day........if it cancels...

championship games are not the place to spring a new mechanic on a crew....

I would rather see a well run 2 man game than a messed up 3-4 man game....as been said before, pick your best guys for...
