Oh.... Now I get it. I think they covered this in the rule book under "it's all about me, how quick I can leave the gym and how much I can get paid" section. I believe it was section: O-U-8-1-2

I have seen several situations like this in the past and you are absolutely correct, I have NEVER seen an official (nor would I unless it was an excessive amount of time) call the 10 second violation...
