NFHS Patch

Hello,

I am looking for a National Federation of High Schools (NFHS) patch or a NFHS Officials Association patch.

Just curious, but why?

That still does not answer the question. What is the purpose of putting on a NF patch on a shirt at all? Who does this and why?

Peace

The only ones I've seen on a jacket are the jackets the Fed used to sell.

Thumbs up Thank You

As a new official, I joined this forum in order to improve my skill, seek out answers to frequently asked qustions, share my personal thoughts and views relative to officiating and seek camaraderie with my fellow officials. What I received on my very first post were insensitive remarks calling me stupid and rather than an answer to a legitimate question/request, my question was answered with questions? Thank you JRutledge and Scrapper1, you certainly have made me feel welcome.

Well, you're from Mass. That means that you're almost certainly a BoSox fan. Scrappy just absolutely hates BoSox fans. He's a Rangers fan, which is all you need to know about him.. And as for JRut? He's just baaaaaaadd!

Grin and bear it. It doesn't get any better. We got Cubs fans here too.

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum.
Kerry Wood got hurt getting out of his hot tub. It is another typical season in store for the Cubbies.

Peace

Yup, I resurrected the baseball thread just to point that out to M&M.

Welcome to the forum. My question was sincere -- for example, are you collecting patches? Does your uniform require an NFHS patch? I didn't answer your question, because I didn't know. Maybe you can try nfhs.com and see if they have them for sale.

We all get told we are stupid here - don't take it personally. The beautiful thing is that tomorrow, someone else will get blasted and the pressure will be off of you!

Welcome!

Billy, I deeply and sincerely apologize. The "stupid" comment was directed at myself, not you. When I first read your question, I "stupidly" thought you were asking about an IAABO patch, instead of a NFHS patch. I stupidly answered that you probably had a regular shirt and just wanted to sew the patch on the shirt for your high school games.

When JRut pointed out that nobody wears the FED patch during a game, I deleted my original post and re-posted, using my "stupid" comment, which was intended to poke fun at myself.

Again, I apologize. It's never my intention to make other officials feel unwelcome here. I am going back now to delete my "stupid" post. I hope that we can have a second chance for a first impression.

P.S. -- Ignore what JurassicRef says about Red Sox fans. He's a Yankee fan.

Don't take any of this "personal". Hey....this is an "Official's Forum." Should we expect less than being challenged, argued with, criticized, etc., on our calls and/or questions?

Chill..... Take it in stride and welcome to the forum, billyc8037!

We have used the NFHS patch on our Basketball jackets for the last 2 years... the consensus amongst the majority of our officials is that it is ugly on the jackets

thus why I brought up an OLD thread

You resurrected a 6-year old thread to tell us the NFHS patch is ugly?
