I'm not aware of any "foot in the box" rule in NFHS softball. I remember having one in baseball but not softball. Am I mistaken here?

It seems to be one of those HTBT plays. I believe, based on the description I have a no-call, live ball. I'm assuming the batter is still in the batters box so you must judge the interference...

I agree with Steve and Mike. Once the batter has stepped out of the batters box, the interference does not have to be intentional. Batter is out, return runner to 2nd.
