Stayed up late last night polishing the shoes and pressing the uniform. First games of the season this afternoon.

Jr College DH today. College and HS season swings into gear starting next week...I'm ready to get back on the field!

I was doing the same thing last night. It's amazing how dusty a pair of shoes can get just sitting around, I am sure I polished all of them when I knew I had worked my last game in sept.

Come to Texas. They won't have time to collect much dust between games.

You're making me jealous. Here on the east coast, we use the optic yellow softball because it's easier to find it in the 12" of snow that's covering the field right now.
My daughters first game (DIII College-senior year) is February 26th. Hope the snow has melted by then :-)

Had first DH of the new year this past week.

College JV...6 1/2 hrs to complete...59 total runs scored!
Lots of hits, lots of errors, lots of pitchers. (of course it was "littleball")

I'm looking forward to SB also!

If you would bring your tail out for some club ball occasionally...you would not have to worry about those shoes getting dust! ( Ya gotta love living here,,,softball all year long..)

I'm with NSA - just a little bit jealous.

We had our first HS meeting this past week, so some things will be starting to think about moving soon.

I've been working out with several collegge teams, indoors, but it does help. By the time I do finally step onto a field, I'll have seen close to 1500+ pitches.

OK....get off my case!

I have a life (and a wife) outside of softball, you know!

If it was only up to me...I would be out there most weekends.

Bkbjones and I had our first games this last Sunday. They were just practice games for the teams, but games nonetheless. 4 games, all back to back. No breaks. I know I'm a little sore... bkbjones did 3 plates in a row, so I assume he's a little sore as well.

But, it was good to get back on the field.

Looking forward to our/Region 15 N.U.S. this weekend here in Seattle.
