I thought in Kansas that once one person called fair catch it does not matter if another player catches the ball it becomes dead, thus another player would be protected correct??

I agree with you as long as the coach is just coaching I do not see this as a big deal. He is not realy bothering anyone but trying to help his/her kids out.

I think it is illegal either way but I thinl vetern officials would proably let it go if the defense regonized it, but before the next play the official would proably tell the coach or team captain...

They just enforced it after the punt went dead wich went into the endzone so they just pushed it back half the distance to the goal line. First and ten on the 10 yrd line for receiving team.

I am not sure of the rule in every division but in the NFL you see Players jumping into the ebdzone and tossing it back before they hit the ground and it gets covered theen.

Yes i beleive that is correct.coach calling timeout would get the player back on the field before the next snap.
