4-5 pairs, worn once then washed.
Same. I can't let anything go unwashed after I wear it on the court.

You can get by with 2 pair if you wash regularly. I've never had more than 5 pair, even in seasons I worked 5-6 days a week fairly consistently. But if I still did that, I've have 8 like JR.

Use "retired" pants for backups. Just make sure they fit. I ironed a pair many years ago with too high heat. They have the iron mark on them and I never liked the brand (Hagar) anyway. But they stayed in my bag for several years as a backup pair. Never needed them. With black tights, you can pretty much get away with anything that doesn't trip you up, except if you are on TV. I've never had that problem too often.

Hoping my partner uses these shirts this year. Not particular about ironing/not ironing.

I don't care what you wear underneath, the a$$ of those pants is going to STINK.

Don't you wash the tights? So why not throw the slacks in as well?

Some of you people are buzzards!

I'm just hoping that one of my partners looks like that.

I wear my pants several times without having them dry cleaned. I used to wash them but not anymore.

I wear tights underneath them and the pants do not smell after use. Then again the tights I wear are ankle length and I think the fabric used on the tights is virtually dry after one game. I do wash everything else after one use, but not my pants. No need to in my opinion. But hey we all do not have the same body order issues either.

Peace

Weighing in on the subject

I'm similar to most.

I have four pairs of pants and buy a new pair every yr and then rotate the most worn out of rotation. I always have an extra set of everything, to include shoes, with me at every game just in case (I'll admit, my bag is a bit big).

I'll wear my pants more than once. As has been stated, depending on the game and level, I probably don't sweat as much as others.

Note - of course if my wife gets a hold of my uniforms my gear gets washed a bit more often.

Do they retain their shape and creases? I have a couple pair of Honigs. Anyone have experience washing those in the machine?

If there is any detectable difference in how they look between washing them and having them cleaned, it probalby disappers about 10 minutes after you put them on.
I just didn't want to risk screwing them up. Glad to hear you and Welpe have good results washing in the machine. I'll give that a shot with my older pair to see how they hold up.

4 pairs of Honig's, washed after every use. Cold water, delicate cycle, low dryer ( with a Mr. Steamy tossed in), and hung immediately afterwards. Never a problem with wrinkles, and I don't worry about smellin' bad.

While I machine wash my pants and shirts, like Rut I wash the pants after a few games.
I hang dry the shirts and machine dry the pants.

Would be just my luck for it to happen the night an evaluator's in the stands. My eyes would never be in my primary.

That is what I have too. They look fine to me after many washings. Even if they didn't meet your standard, you could just go back to having them cleaned.

You know, some guys sweat and some don't. I know one guy who looks like Robert Hayes in that scene in Airplane! after 30 seconds on the court.
