I ordered a pair of the Honig's brand slacks and when I got them they looked a little off.
I compared them to a pair of Sansabelt slacks and it was night and day. If the pants were on a grey scale of zero being white and 10 black, the Sansabelts were a 10 and the Honig's were a 7. The Honig's had a slight blueness to them as well, not quite navy, not quite black. They looked like they were 10 years old and washed several thousand times. Anyone else have this problem? |

Glad you mentioned this...
I almost ordered a pair of Honig's pants earlier today. I wanted non-pleated pants but not with the western front pockets...they only had 1/4 front pockets in the pleated pants...so I didn't order any. I did order a pair of Reebok patent leather shoes though. ($71.50 w/shipping) They said they would be here in 2 days...we'll see.

I was happy with the fit and construction, just not the blackness of the slacks.
I'm going to return them, their CS dept was very good about things. They offered to send me out a new pair, to see if it was just a faulty pair, but if I'm going to wait and than run out to have them hemmed before my games next week, I might as well go with the sure thing from our local supplier. |

I've never gotten anything from Honig's that wasn't absolutely 100% satisfactory. I'm surprised to hear they sent something unacceptable. If I were you, I'd give them another chance. But if you really don't have time for that, at least try them again next year. The pants I bought there about 3 years ago, still look brand-new, including a very intense black color. I expect you just got a pair from a bad batch.
