Let us know how it goes.

Oh, and make sure you do something in the restaurant to embarrass her.

Give everyone the Old School stare. That should do the job!

My son is 11 and we will both send as much positive energy as we can muster your way. I hope with all my heart that you receive some good news. When you can, let us know how it goes in Richmond.

Keep the faith....

As someone who lost a nephew recently to end stage Hodgkins Lymphoma I know how scary things like this can be.

I have also been active on the fund raising front for the St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital in Memphis for 20+ years and have seen first hand how the advances that are made everyday are allowing more and more positive outcomes....

Well guys my familys life changed forever when the doctor came in after Kassidys surgery and told us in 7 words." Kassidy has cancer on her right knee". The tumor came back possitive and we face 3 months of chemo. As of right now the chemo will start next week, go on for 3 months, then they will do another test to see if the treatments are working. You guys know things change in this situation instantly. Kass told me today she is more worried about losing her hair than having cancer.I know we have a long road to travel, I want to thank you for prayers and letting me come on this board and express this to you guys. Talk to you soon

If it is alright with you, I will add Kassidy's name to our prayer list at church. Our prayers are with you.

I know I joke around a lot, but certainly not in this case. Add my prayers for Kassidy to your list.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Kassidy and your entire family. Sorry I didn't do this sooner - been travelling on business & haven't checked the board in the last week or so. Please keep us posted on how things are going...

Healing prayers headed your way. I looked osteosarcoma up on the internet and I did like this statement: "But with the proper diagnosis and treatment, most kids with osteosarcoma do recover."

Hang in there.

In September of 2003, my 26 year old brother was diagnosed with a sarcoma in his rib cage. The surgery was a very difficult ordeal because it was thoracic and was so close to the heart and lungs. It was a very long week for us (and his wife, who was 7 months pregnant at the time). He did not need chemo, however, since his cancer had been fully removed during the first surgery (the 2nd surgery was really a cautionary sweep meant to ensure full removal) and the 2nd biopsy showed no signs of cancer.
Three and a half years later; nothing. Other than residual effects of the surgery itself, he is as healthy as can be.

I forgot to add, if she's concerned about her hair, there are some good wigs out there.
