I just KNEW that you'd be the one to comment on this, mon frère! While I appreciate your suggestion, I'm not sure I should be the one to mentor others. I'm afraid you've discovered my Achilles heel, and I expect you'll be hectoring me about it for the rest of the odyssey of this thread.

Or were you talking about "The Simpsons"?

I don't know why anyone would be interested in having a used pair of pants once belonging to a MLB umpire.

There are a lot of MLB umpire groopies here. They memorize their numbers, speculate on which minor league umpire will get the call, have fanasty umpire leagues, etc.

I guess the next logical step would be to wear their used pants. Either that or staking out there house, rooting through their garbage, and finding out what they had for breakfast before a playoff game.

To each his own, I guess.

I almost expected to see this in the notice from Sal:

MLB Umpire pants, cleaned: $50

MLB Umpire pants, not cleaned: $100

Sorry Johnny, I already took the "indiclicker", plate brush, dip can, a couple old pay stubs and some seed shells out of the pockets from my last game. Those items are not included but can be purchased separately
