Umpire incorrect foul call
I was in C, working with a 1st year umpire. Partner rules a batted ball close to plate as a foul ball. Offensive coaches go ballistic and my partner comes out to talk to me. He says catcher picked it...

In NSA and High School (KY), can a courtesy runner be inserted for catcher or pitcher at any time while they are on base, or does it have to be done as soon as they first get on base?

Runners 1st & 3rd, one out. Popup caught by second baseman, runner tags at 3rd, but not at 1st. Runner crosses plate before second baseman throws to 1st for 3rd out due to no tag. No run?
