The coach doesn't have to announce the intentional walk. He still has the option of throwing the 4 pitches. I'm not sure why he would want to risk it, but it can be done.

It's good to see the update, but his old delivery still seems to violate the rule of resetting the pivot foot. The article then seems to allow his old delivery. I'm not sure what the resolution is.

I guess I'm still trying to work out how a runner can be "off with the pitch" yet beat the ball to the plate. Sign that guy up! He's faster than lightning.

In physics, a stop is mandatory for any change of direction. It's impossible to change directions without a momentary stop. Momentum is zero, even if for a micro second.
