Rule Set ???

I believe that the interpretation my be different in rule sets other than NFHS, i.e. NBA.

Unfortunately, I'm not the guy to comment on rule sets other than NFHS. Hopefully, someone with that ability will be moseying along in a few minutes.

"Hearing" about it somewhere would make me look it up immediately, instead of going years wondering about a rule.

There are no rules in NCAA or NHFS that prevent an injured player from returning to a game.

Agreed. Plus, I always found something else while I was looking up the original question.

In NCAAM, the opposing coach chooses from A2 - A5 to shoot the FTs (assuming the player wasn't removed for blood).
