5 minutes is not a long time

I can't come close to agreeing with this. It can work as a disadvantage to the team ahead in all sorts of ways -- momentum, cooling down, freaking them out (i.e. the John McEnroe effect on his opponent), etc. This needs to be handled within a minute to a minute and a half tops.
