Lead Positioning...and others
What are some key concepts to get across to younger officials moving up to 3-man concerning Lead positioning? Even throw in some, if you have them, for the Center and Trail positions.
Ex: Don't pinch yourself down and out of a good angle...ect. |

- Find a reason to rotate.
- Use confident, purposeful movements. - Know your 3 immediates. - Mirror the ball on the perimeter. - Trust the C & T on above the rim plays. - Patient whistle required.

Pass to the weakside for an immediate shot Pass to the weakside for an immediate dribble drive Swing pass to the weakside immediately reversed I have no further definition of mirroring the ball.

When the ball is near the sideline, L should be in the wide position. When the ball is near the middle, L should be in close-down position.
