				Lead Positioning...and others
			 
			
			What are some key concepts to get across to younger officials moving up to 3-man concerning Lead positioning? Even throw in some, if you have them, for the Center and Trail positions. Ex: Don't pinch yourself down and out of a good angle...ect. |

			- Find a reason to rotate. - Use confident, purposeful movements. - Know your 3 immediates. - Mirror the ball on the perimeter. - Trust the C & T on above the rim plays. - Patient whistle required.

			When the ball is near the sideline, L should be in the wide position.  When the ball is near the middle, L should be in close-down position.
