I've seen these balks like these in HS ball but never in MLB!

Let me have this since I think I was in on the creation of this idea. I posted years ago that a pitcher cannot balk on a move to second: He doesn't have to throw to base, he doesn't have to throw, even if he steps, etc.

That was translated into: It Is Impossible To Balk To Second Base.

That's what the poster meant. He didn't balk on his move to second: IIITBTSB. As Tim said: He started a pitch, stopped a pitch, and that IS a balk.

Well, he's probably wrong, but there's always the possibility that further research ....
