Carl:
Has the officiating.com site stopped taking new members? I am trying to renew my subscription and the links are invalid.
Thanks!

Carl,
We're having a discussion on the forum about your "Mechanics for The 21st Century." I'd like your permission to post an e-mail you sent me about your ideas on starting in B with no one on base. You sent me the e-mail I'm talking about around four years ago. I think it would be a good time to let some of the newer forum users to get a look at your mechanics philosophy, and see where the discussion leads.
Thanks in advance,
Tim Haag

Mr. Texas Aggie:
No waiver is needed. Technical books like the NCAA rulebook can always be quoted as part of an analysis or explication of the material.
I've been doing it for all these years with the help of the various rules interpreters, going all the way back to the 80s: Don Edwards; Bill Thurston; Rich Fetchiet; and now, Jim Paronto.
And it's a pleasure to talk to another former Aggie. I taught there for four years in the mid 70's; one grandson graduated this past June; another enrolled this past September.
Gig 'em.

With regards to you BRD, did you have any trouble getting a waiver for copyrighted material from the NCAA in particular? I ask because I'm considering writing a football rules guide that will quote a large chunk of NCAA copyrighted material.
