Then in the last bulletin Ryan MacDowell asked that we take it easy and only interfere if something is in our face. How do you go about enforcing the “should be removed” part on suspected taped over jewelry? Last edited by IK13; Mon Oct 14, 2024 at 11:47am. |

That’s my point - to enforce the rule, one has to actually see the jewelry underneath it. Which can only happen if the player happens to take off the tape in front of the ref (and the ref notices). Rules without ways of enforcement are useless imo. |

In NCAAW Basketball, we are supposed to have them take the tape off (the only tape that's allowed is to tape back the earlobe when someone has a large empty hole where a gauge earring would normally be worn).
In VB -- I just ask what is being worn under the tape. Yes, someone could lie. So far, they've just taken the tape off and removed the jewelry. |

Cuffs (what you refer to as loos, I think) (Top 2 LEGAL; bottom ILLEGAL because of the chain): https://www.google.com/imgres?q=cuff...00&hcb=2&itg=1 |
