Runner is awarded the base he/she is attempting (2nd, regardless of which direction he/she was running, since he/she already attained 1st), plus one = 3rd.

Dave I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views! Screw green, it ain't easy being blue! I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again. |

Never, ever use the one plus one terminology. The rule is clearly spelled out in the book, and all you are doing is helping to propogate a myth.
