I work a rec league where its all 1 man and all JV games in our area are 1man .. so I have a lot of experience in this.

Hustle out 3B side batters box in most cases and keep your eyes open. Hustle being the key word.

In the slot, its relatively easy to watch runners at 1b and 2b to see if they leave early.

Personnally, I like 1 man best. I definately feel its inferior coverage from an officials/players/coaches POV, but on a personnal level I like it.
