I don't unless there is a runner on third. If there is a runner on third, I do because the possible play at the plate is going to be my call if the runner comes home.

rbmartin, thank you for the reply. I always hear of umpires making things up to call abandonment, but in this case, I actually think that is the correct call and the explanation we should have used.

I had a left handed slapper bunt a ball to third and then run into F3 who was crashing in hard on the bunt, in fair territory. I had obstruction but maybe I should of had nothing. My reasoning was...

I like the schutt for vision reasons. Try them both on and you will see what I mean. I didn't like the pads and use the honig black all leather pads instead. Leather is always nicer.:rolleyes:

Play 3 I don't have the BR out

If you have interference, then you have immediate dead ball and the player who interfered is out. The BR gets first. only one out on this play IMHO.
