Im a 1st yr ump with a question. JV 2outs R1 Im the PU, batter hits F2's mitt so I immediately call OBS (fed). Batter runner is thrown out at first...R1 rounds second but comes back to second base...

The point I was trying to make in the OP was not that 20 fundamentals are less important or irrelevant...I just dont see most of them being any more important than many of the other rules in the RB....

At the end of a game a commonly heard philosophy is to "let the guys play". Just wondering if you guys change the way you call the game at the end...esp a close good game?

Shootin from the hip, double foul? maybe...B got it with "clean hands" sooo if B excepts any of A's fouls its a double foul. Decline the multi fouls on A and enforce B's foul, B 1st and 10 on the 20.
