Bingo and have fun explaining it to the passer's coach.

Since the foul occurred after the pass had ended, it is not a loose ball foul. If it was during the pass, it would be a loose ball foul but don't forget that roughing the passer has special enforcements.

No. All runs prior to but not after the forward pass, kick, fumble behind the LOS, etc are considered part of the loose ball play. I'd post a rule reference for you but I am in training and do not have my books with me.

REPLY: Here's the wording of the definition of loose ball play:
"A loose-ball play is action during: a. A free kick or scrimmage kick other than post-scrimmage kick fouls. b. A legal forward pass. c. A backward pass (including the snap), an illegal kick or fumble made by A from in or behind the neutral zone prior to a change of team possession. d. The run or runs which precedes such legal or illegal kick, legal forward pass, backward pass or fumble." (Bold face and underline is meant to answer a4caster's question)
