Duke Edsall and Tommy Nunez Jr. didn't work a game last weekend, yet worked a regional. That is rare, but not unheard of. I remember that happening to Tom O'Neill and Steve Welmer in previous years.

I would safely anticipate Roger Ayers...Tony Greene...John Cahill...Mike Roberts..Doug Shows..Scott Thornley...Vern Harris...Doug Shows....and Terry Oglesby to work over the next two days.

What happened to guys like:

TV Ted Valentine, Mike Kitts, Dick Cartmell, Tom O'neill, Hartzel

They either only worked first 2 rounds or did not appear at all

Only 3 out of the 9 officials who worked elite 8 are based out of the Rockies or West..2/3 East Coast or Midwest guys
