Those are also not a lot of games based on some past numbers.

I have been seeing a lot of guys I have not seen before before the tournament started, so that is not totally surprising.

Peace

Jim Burr is another one. He worked 60+ games inluding the Big East tournament final. I believe he has worked a couple of NIT games. If I remember correctly he missed the tournament a couple ofyears ago too, because of some paper-work mix up.

Officiating assignments for men from 2005 (ncaa, nit, cbi and cit) and women from 2007 (ncaa, wnit) through current games are available at Philadelphia Basketball Referee - college Men Postseaon and Philadelphia Basketball Referee - College Women Postseaon .

Detail includes:

For men, a final four history is also available with brackets, results, officials, coaches and mvps from 1939

Thanks for this. Never realized that Burr worked 7 championship games in his career. Or how many final fours Hightower, Cahill, Tim Higgins and many other officials worked.

Joe DeRosa officiates the Big 12 Championship and doesn't get an NCAA tournament game, that is amazing. I guess somebody doesn't like retired NBA officials officiating in the NCAA tournament.

Doubt that. I believe he worked a regional final last season.

Paperwork again?

I heard that a number of Div. 1 officials had paperwork issue again, including DeRosa and Stephens.
