Double or nothing

The double or nothing wager stems from my True or False thread. An inbounding player can hand the ball to a teammate without throwing it. True or False?

9-2 . . . 4-31

Enjoy your Fresca, if you're the winner, which I hope the heck you are.

No a non official.

I tried to explain it's called a throw-in.

Not enough information to answer.

If it's a "run the endline" throw-in, and the teammate is out-of-bounds along the endline, then it's legal.

Further, you ask only whether the ball CAN be handed to another teammate (I assume you mean one who is also a player), not whether it's legal.

Thrower-in-er A1, who is out of bounds with the ball, holds the ball across the boundary line plane at which point defender B1 grabs the ball out of A1's hands and dribbles away. Legal?

Oh no, I could lose on a technicality. He can do it!

Then it's working. My helicopter's in the shop, though.
