That is correct...unlike last year, with a fresh 24, as soon as a tenth of a second goes off the clock, the shot clock will read 23 instead of showing 24 seconds for a full second like last year.

So now the NBA uses the one on the right? It would appear NCAA still uses the one on the left.

It was 24.0 all the time but the display was rounded up whenever it was without a 10th's display. Thus, it showed 24 all the way down to 23.1 and at 23.0, the clock would drop to 23. When it dropped to 16, it was 16.0.

Now, they round down. So, when it shows 16, it will be between 16.0 and 16.9 and it will only be below 16 when it drops to 15.

I always just confused myself when thinking about these things. The NBA put out a good clip showing the differences between the old and new shot clock that explained this all a lot better than I could.

Save for the shot clocks showing .1 left with 0's on the clock and for the clocks showing tenth's with 10 seconds instead of five or less, then yes I'd say it looks like the one on the right.
