Backcourt Violation or not?

The play would be a backcourt violation. All four criteria where met.

Maybe you may want to consider the ball off the knee/hitting the backboard an attenpt for a try? That way it would not be a back court violation.
I have seen the Globetrotters attempt some crazy shots.
