Yes, I'm from Dallas, and yes, I'm a Mavs fan.

But what you say above is the OPPOSITE of what I said. I didn't say the officials (you seem to be implying the word intentionally here) gave calls to the Heat. That is actually completely backward from my point. It seems that from the above comments of the general basketball referee population, you guys seem to think the errors/mistakes/given calls/whatever were balanced, and/or that the mistakes didn't happen at all. I'm saying that surely, since you guys have some level of expertise (I haven't been on this side of the board long enough to know which ones of you are true experts and which are morons - I'm sure there are some of each - there are some of each on the baseball/softball/football sections), you should at least be able to admit that the (let's call them: ) "questionable calls" seemed to go much more toward the Heat in this particular series. I'm not implying intent at all here - just trying to point out that the ire of the generic Mav fan is not COMPLETELY misplaced.

If this gets me called "fanboy" to make you feel better about yourselves, feel free to be condescending toward me. But the fact that I don't happen to officiate THIS sport doesn't mean I can't look at officiating in an unbiased way, even when I had a rooting interest in this particular series.
