These games tonight are incredible! West Virginia and Gonzaga have nothing to be ashamed of.

It's too bad the Warriors and Mavericks picked tonight to play an NBA classic as well....not too many people were watching! Jason Richardson hit a 3 pter to win it at the buzzer after a coast to coast with a spin downcourt...after Derek Fisher thought he had tied it on a 3 pter and foul that was waved off !

Dave,

Did you just make an NBA reference on an NCAA topic? Dude, what the hell were you thinking?

Zags gave that one away.

The casino guys flat out NAILED this one.

UCLA was a two point favorite and the over/under on pts scored by Adam Morrison was 24 1/2. Those number crunchers are UNREAL!

I did not see the end of this game; I only hear a radio replay of it.

BUT!!! While I did not have a favorite in this game, the end of this game is the reason why the Alternation Possession Rule is an abomination. The game should have been restarted with a Jump Ball.

It should have been a foul on Ravio anyway. He just dove on top of the UCLA player after he lost the ball. The official probably knew that the arrow favored UCLA and just did it that way.

I've been a UCLA fan since the days of Bill Walton & Keith (Jamal) Wilkes...that said, my opinion is the dribbler from Gonzaga was fouled at halfcourt (defender reached in and hit him in the midsection) which knocked him off balance and caused separation between him and the ball. That allowed the second defender get his hand on the ball and knock it away which led to the tie up.

The games were great. I really wanted to see Gonzaga go on, but they didn't execute down the stretch. I also enjoyed Batista in the press conference saying that he wasn't going to complain about the officiating.....and then of course complained about the officiating. If he would have gotten rid of the ball late against the press, they could have been in a much better position. Also fun from last night was Teddy V. whacking the kid from Memphis. Did anyone else see that the kid had 7 T's on the year? I would think someone on the coaching staff might want to speak with him about sportsmanship.

It's hilarious that Batista had the gaul to talk about the officiating. I thought that UCLA showed tremendous restraint to not say anything about the poor officiating throughout the game. Once again, an official does not know what CONTINUOUS MOTION means on the play by Collison. And since when is it a foul if you get blocked by the backboard?

You mean the press conference was in France?

Once again, you show up simply to put down other officials. Time to move on, Socal.

hey socalreff - who was the foul called on? was it Raivio #5 or #2 Pargo? There were two players there - the announcers and everyone else thought a blocking foul was called on #2 Pargo.

If you think it was a block on Pargo - then you are incorrect. It was called on Raivio for reaching in BEFORE Collison ended his dribble and started his habitiaul shooting motion. Good call by Gerry Pollard.
