My observation is that he wasn't watching the different batters feet while she was slapping. I saw numerous times that she made contact with the ball and her foot or in one case both feet were out of the box. And don't get me started again on the commentator, Stacey whoever. She stated on one occasion when a slapper was way out of the front of the box and made contact that went foul, that it was a good thing it was FOUL or the girl would have been out. To be an announcer they should be required to have better knowledge of the rules. Dave

"To be an announcer they should be required to have better knowledge of the rules."
HA, HA, HA, HA, HA!!! If ONE announcer, and that includes in MLB, was right on foul-tip/foul ball, I would probably have a stroke. You would think that former players and managers understood the rules of the game they were involved in for years. But, like my sons always told me, "That's what you get for thinking, Dad." Bob |
