Excellent point. Another example of the NFHS writing rules that don’t make sense.

Same is true with, say, blue jerseys and white arm sleeves all the way up to the shoulder being legal; white t-shirt is not legal. They look (substantially) the same.

And, it's the same issue in other sports.

Again -- the same example you used in a thread within the past couple of weeks in which it was pointed out that you don't need to do either to enforce the rule.
