Sleeves

I know this has been discussed, but want to ask ...

Decorative sleeves (wearing a sleeve to be cool) is not allowed. What if the sleeve has an elbow pad? Elbow pads are legal, correct and this sleeve with an elbow pad would be allowed and a sleeve (with no medical reason) is not allowed.

Would all of the above be true?

Correct, if the sleeve with the elbow pad is being worn for a medical reason.

But, it is a sleeve with an elbow pad... Are elbow/knee pads legal? It is a form of elbow pad. Not just a sleeve. There is a difference - I have seen sleves with no padding.
