CC.

There should be one whistle on this play, too, and not from either of the two officials that had one.

I had the same thought first time as well. But I considered it more and gotta disagree. The player is going directly away from Lead and I don't think Lead has a good view of whether the player got legal before contact. I think if Lead blows here he might call it a charge more often, which isn't good for getting the play right. I know the defender is coming from his area, but I'm actually ok with him not guessing here.

This is a secondary defender right in the middle of the paint who starts and ends in L's primary. No reason for him to not have a look at this.

Regardless, T needs to stay far away from this play and certainly not have a primary whistle.

If only the L comes up with this, he can give a strong prelim rather than having the entire crew look at each other and appear unsure.

Garden variety, easy block call. Doubt only creeps in for anyone cause the crew doesn't appear sure.

This is a blocking foul because the defender is moving forward at the time of contact. I have a hard time believing that any official other than the C can correctly observe that movement.
Seems that it would look like a charge from the L position as he wouldn’t be able to determine if there was still forward motion by the defender.

I disagree with this. The L can easily see movement forward and judge this to be a block.

It's the Lead's primary but W21 steps into the L's view of the play at the time of impact, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he didn't want to guess. Once the Lead does not blow, The Center and the Trail both have open looks with the Center being next in line to put a whistle on the play, which he does. If the Center doesn't blow, the Trail also has a great look at the defender's forward movement.

I agree with this....the L has a closed look on this play and is as likely to get it wrong as get it right. I know it is the L's primary, but I like the C jumping on it with the more certain look.

No one thinks travel when the driver/shooter initially gets the ball?

Block all day. Wish we could see FTs. Ball doesn't lie.

Not really the pinnacle of validation, but he made ‘em both to win a sectional championship.

This a Charge everyday of the week and twice on Sundays. W1 had Obtained a LGP against R1. W1 was not moving toward R1 when contact between W1 and R1 occurred; W1 had stopped moving.

Referee the Defense and one will see that W1 had Obtained a LGP.
