I'm "sure" it started out that way, and if it was a visiting team and the nickname was redhawks or redwings or reddevils etc it ended up that way.

I think every official who has worked more than a few years of girls games has a similar story.

Thirty-five years. About 40% girls games. Not one similar incident. Should I be worried?
