I still recall a game I played in my high school days Puerto Rico. We had a fight that included players wielding bats, and a couple of fans coming onto the field with machetes. I shit you not. Thank goodness there were a couple of undercover cops at the game that made their presence known pretty quickly, and they escorted us onto the bus to get the hell out of there.
