Disclaimer: I'm a Braves fan and this was about as childish as I've seen adults act in quite a while (on both sides).
The play is what it is, and I don't have an issue with anything the umps did, specifically concerning counting Gomez's run even though he didn't touch home. Scoring the run made sense in a lot of ways as a fan.
My only question - is there a rules basis for allowing Gomez's run to score even though he didn't touch home?
Seems like McCain should have been ejected for blocking his path to the plate (i.e., because he didn't physically allow Gomez to score) along with Reed Johnson since he came into the scrum and pushed.
