I think you're mis-reading it. He said that F6 "gloves it" then "opens the glove and plays the bounce"

Depending upon what really happened and who is my partner, 99.9% of the time I would handle this after the game.

**I leave that .1% to a Baseball official I knew that felt as though he had to step on everyone's call just about all the time. I just verbally blasted him in front of both teams one time, and it never happened again in our games. Sometimes you just have to do, what you have to do, to get the point across.

**(Not the recommended solution)

I can see reading it that way. It was the "plays the bounce" part. Guess we need clarification.
