Umpires don't see "ties" and then decide which ruling to choose from or base a call on how well or poorly a fielder played a ball. Umpires see a sequence of events and then rule on what happened first. THERE ARE NO TIES.

BigUmp56 post looked like a question to me instead of an argument. Your "interpretation" was innacurate so why address BigUmp56 with your inaccurate interpretation?

I don't believe I posted anything as an argument.

If it turns out I misinterpreted BigUmpr56's post, I apology for my error. I was not looking for a fight, just an explanation.
