Test Question 5
Which ruling is correct:
* A. During warm ups, the R-1 tells the coach of Team A that #9 is wearing jewelry. Player #9 refuses to remove the jewelry. Player #9 is charged with unsporting conduct at the start of the match. * B. Player #10 enters the substitution zone wearing jewelry. Unnecessary delay/time out is assessed her team and the jewelry must be removed prior to entry into the set. * C. A player wearing a sleeveless uniform is wearing a medical alert taped to her arm. The R-1 requires the medical alert to be worn under the uniform and taped to the body. * D. In set #1, Team A's coach makes excessive requests for the serving order and is assessed an administrative yellow card. In set #2, the coach continues to make excessive requests for the serving order. The R-1 assess an administrative red card. It's not B or C, but I think both A ( rule 4-1, Penalty 1) and D (rule 9-9, Penalty Note; Rule 12-2-8-k) seem correct. |

A. Casebook 4.1.6 Situation A
B. Unnecessary delay penalties. This would be correct if not for the "Time Out" phrasing. C. Casebook 4.1.6 Situation B D. Check your Administrative Yellow card penalties. Remember, the second offense happens in a *different* set...
