I believe it's even been suggested that both genders in coed use the same 12" ball, but that's been voted down every time. If a 12-year old girl can use a 12" ball in fast pitch, why can't a 21-year old woman in slow pitch?
I understand where this player is coming from, but it's simply not an option. If local rules want to supersede this, that's their right, but regular ASA rules do not allow it.

Dave I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views! Screw green, it ain't easy being blue! I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again. |
