I understand where this player is coming from, but it's simply not an option. If local rules want to supersede this, that's their right, but regular ASA rules do not allow it.
It don't believe this to be an issue of whether or not a 21-year-old woman can hit a 12" ball. This has more to do with making the men and women's batted balls act more similar to each other.
