The same batter getting hit twice is one of those quirky and cool things will make for a good "war story" down the road. And from what I know of mbcrowder (through his posts) I'm willing to bet he knows the rules about ejecting fans- which leads me to believe that "team mom" was dugout personel.

But I'm still wondering why you called time when "the pitcher threw her last (warm-up?) pitch". Was the ball live?
