I also officiate fastpitch softball. I have been doing it for years. I work USSSA, ASA, NCAA and Fed. Under what rule set were you working?
Where in whatever rulebook you're using in this game does it give any umpire the authority to eject a fan? You can get the TD to deal with a fan but I'm not sure that any umpire has the authority to eject a fan. Could you quote the rule please?
