ASA Senior SP Courtesy Runners

Question for everyone... Two outs. Player #1 goes in as a courtesy runner for player #2. Player #3 steps up, hits, and #1 scores. Player #1 goes to coach at 1B. Player #4 steps up and gets a single. Player #1 then takes player #4's place on 1B. Player #5 hits a single, player #3 scores, and player #1 goes all the way to 3B. Before the next pitch, the defensive manager asks if player #1 already was a courtesy runner for someone else.

What have you got?

I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views!

Screw green, it ain't easy being blue!

I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again.

I have a plate umpire that didn't effectively maintain his lineup, that should have refused the 2nd courtesy runner usage by the same player.

I also have 2 runs scored, and now, with the appeal, #1 out as a duplicate courtesy runner in the same inning. There is no rule that goes any further, so all you have is the out when appealed, and you do not nullify the prior play.

Well, sorta... #1 swapped places with #4 when I had my back turned. I didn't notice it until after he already made it to 3B.

Then, if this is tournament play, you also have an unreported sub, since courtesy runners must be reported. In THAT case, you also have a disqualification, in addition to the out.
