1. Amen!!! I have since been hit in the mask several times. Only took once to learn that lesson

2. Tried contacts, couldn't wear them. That was years ago, may give it another shot. I looked into Lasik, and can't afford it. Payments were pretty high and being a full time college student, I can't afford any more debt right now.

Nothing wrong with wearing glasses. All the best umpires do.

Maybe BuggBob's goggles would work? Heck it's worth a try if you insist on wearing it.

And he has a sense of humor. I am in the "NON-Perfect" group, and loosing my hair fast...

Never realized it much until I was in the USMC, when they shaved my head I realized I had a big dent in the top of my head, unfortunately, so did everyone else....LOL

I'm only 30, and halfway to Patrick Stewart!

You know it's bad when you're 18, and your mother asks you if you've ever considered Rogaine.

What many people don't know is that the roots of your hair keep growing. When they get through the skull and find good fertile gray matter, they turn gray to match.

When they don't find anything, they turn loose!

I have had the hockey for 8 years now. Had a wilson flo-air or something, nice, but got a all-star with the extra light cage, what a helmet. I have found you have a much better field of view with them. I have been hit too many times to count and never really felt any of them.

As for the hat, never even thought of it before. I do have a crew cut and losing some hair, I am told. But I just switched one winter and never thought about wearing a hat under it, since it would not fit. I will not BS you, my assigner tells us what we must were and I go off that.
