ASA doesn't cover this, since for interference on a runner can only be called if the runner interferes with a fielder attempting to field a fair batted ball.
How about a fly ball over foul territory? Runner on 3B off on the pitch. Batter hits a soft pop down the 3B line 10 feet short of the bag. Runner reverses direction and unintentionally runs into F5 just before the ball, over foul territory, hits off F5's glove. That's a foul ball according to ASA's definition, and the runner is out. (Interesting that there's still a debate in OBR about how to call that play. If you go strictly by the book, you award the batter 1B.)
