it's Halloween. I vote for commemorating those ol' Salem Witch Trials, with accompanying burning at stake...

Yup, I've got a couple on my list, too.

***HIJACK WARNING*****

[HIJACK ON]Is the ignore list worth the effort? I have been content with just ignoring the trolls in my own way, not automating the process; after all, one may accidently say something pertinent. I simply won't respond in a thread where they interact to any extent.

And, some who occasionally seem to troll just for affect, other times contribute to the threads. For all I know, some may see me that way.[/HIJACK OFF]

I used to feel that way about the poster, but too high a percentage of his postings are one or more (and frequently several all at once) of the following:

- pointless
- posted just to rabble rouse
- ignorant
- without logic at all
- wrong

And, even after being proven wrong, sometimes wrong many times over and proven so by many people, there is the continued insistence he is right.

It is not to "punish" him, it is merely to improve my enjoyment of the board by completely removing everything he posts before I ever read it.

Tom, if you would like, I could once again over ride that function of this board and quote his response. But only if you really want me to....
