What I noticed were umpires making a safe call when there was no attempted tag on a runner who reached the base long before the ball. Also, umpires on the line, hustling out down the line on a basehit to the outfield. The ball would land 20-30 feet in fair territory and the umpire is running out there with his arm extended, ruling a fair ball. Well, running with the arm extended looked just as goofy as comparing the multible styles of footwear of the umpires. Also, if you wouldn't call the obvious foul ball, why call the obvious fair ball?
Just an observation initiated by the thread we discussed.

Your ragging on MLB umpires is pretty old and pathetic.
Get a life.
